I believe in getting them started early...

In all seriousness, it was the first time I have voted and really thought about how the choice would affect my kids 20 years from now. Vote, and even more importantly, stay informed and involved in between the elections. I learned the whole "write your congressman" thing is actually somewhat effective, and satisfying.
